A growing Engineering Consulting firm is looking for a licensed, Minnesota PE, structural engineer. We offer a part-time/full-time flexible schedule. Retired structural engineers are welcome. Wisconsin and surrounding state licenses is a plus.

Our talented team of professionals are passionate about helping our clients solve their issues! Our clients include: property owners and stakeholders of commercial/industrial, residential, and multifamily dwellings such as Realtors, construction trade personnel, condo and town-home associations, property management firms, lawyers, builders, homeowners, and architects.

Structural engineering role: inspections and forensic investigations with high customer service standards; deliver engineering solutions to concerned building owners; construction defect; engineer plans (including red-lining) with occasional drawing including Auto CAD; project management and oversight; insurance claims; load bearing walls; retaining walls; leading edge thermal break technology experts; and involved in “green”, sustainable initiatives, and consumer advocacy!

Profile: Must have good interpersonal skills and communicate with a variety of clients to perform site visits; must be able to climb ladder and, at times with 25 lbs of equipment; from time to time, our engineers inspect attics and/or crawl spaces. Knowledge of concrete structures, wood and steel framing; experience with Enercalc Software and Auto CAD is a plus.

Must have your own car; PE license.
